Writing and Publishing Qualitative Research: New course from the SSPH+!

We are happy to announce a new course from the Swiss School of Public Health + (SSPH+) entitled “Conducting Qualitative Research in Health: Writing and Getting Published”.

This course provides an introduction to writing up qualitative research. Using examples from existing articles,  participants will learn to extract principles of good writing and communication practice and to develop and incorporate them into their own writing.

The course will be facilitated by presentations, discussion, group work and small assignments. At the end of it, participants will have the outline of a research paper. It will be held on 11-13 September 2013 at the University of Basel and led by Professor Brigit Obrist from the Institute of Social Anthropology and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel.
