Introduction to Statistical Software R: New course from the SSPH+!

The next course announced from the Swiss School of Public Health+ is practical introduction to the free, open-source statistical software R!

If you are one of those people who appreciate the flexibility of R  but find it less intuitive to use, register for this course and by the end of it you will be able to use it for statistical analysis and graphical representation and get familiar with tools that will help you use it more efficiently. Subjects that will be covered include data import and export; data manipulation; statistical analysis; graphical representation; advanced programming concepts.

The course will be held on February 25 and 26 2014 and will be facilitated by Dr. Jan Hattendorf from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel, Switzerland. Basic statistical knowledge is required but no programming skills are essential! You have to bring your own laptop!
