Qualitative Research in Health: new course from the SSPH+!
The Swiss School of Public Health+ has just announced a new course entitled “Qualitative research in health: an introduction to qualitative research methods“. As the title suggests, this course aims to enable participants to define the different types of qualitative research and their strengths and limitations. Furthermore, the course will provide an introduction to methods such as semi-structured interviews, in-depth and key informant interviews, focus group discussions and participant observation. It will also provide the basis for more advanced courses which will be held in 2015.
The course will be held in September 10-12 2014 at the University of Basel, Kollegienhaus and will be facilitated by Professor Brigit Obrist .
